Ok, so we all know that Peter Capaldi will be the new Doctor officially on Christmas Day, what we don’t know yet is who will do the deed and kill the Tenth Doctor, Matt Smith. Or do we?
Our friends over at Nerd B#@tards picked up on a tweet that went up earlier this week by Doctor Who stuntman Darrelle Parker who wrote – SPOILERS – NO SERIOUSLY, SPOILERS – SURE? – OK – “Great to be stunting again for Dr Who in the Christmas special playing a Cyberman.”
Now we know that Steven Moffat is a man who likes disinformation so we aren’t sure if we are completely on board with this, but it would make sense. As the B#@stards wrote: If it is the Cyberman who end the Eleventh Doctor, it will be apropos. The first appearance of the Cybermen was in the serial “The Tenth Planet,” which is also known as the final appearance of William Hartnell, the First Doctor. It would certainly be a fitting way to wrap up the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who.”
Just please, no super-speed Cybermen this time… they were awful.
So what say you? Will Smith be deleted? Or will the Cybermen simply appear in the story? All will be revealed the day after Santa comes.
