Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Possible Spoiler: Is THIS the real Shredder?

June 26th, 2014 by Todd Black Comments

Ok, so the new Michael Bay produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie has already gotten a LOT of heat. From the Turtles, to Megan Fox playing April O’Neil, the list goes on and on. The recently released second trailer has calmed some fears, yet it also showed us some things that may change what we think….

WARNING!!! SPOILERS APPROACHING!!!

At around 1:15, we see a shadowy figured being addressed, and being told that they “made improvements” to his armor. That makes it sound like THIS is the real Shredder, and not Fitchner as recently believed.

Only time will tell, check out the trailer below, then let us know what you think!

The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April O’Neil (Fox) and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick (Arnett) to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan.

Directed by Jonathan Liebesman, the film stars Megan Fox in the role of April O’Neil, Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, Pete Ploszek as Leonardo, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, Will Arnett as Vernon Fenwick, Danny Woodburn as Master Splinter and William Fichtner as Shredder with Johnny Knoxville and Tony Shalhoub lending their voices to Leonardo and Splinter respectively.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will hit US theaters on August 8th, 2014 and in the UK on October 17th.
