Many young people engage in different kinds of sports to learn this. Given the improvement of streaming services that offer high quality entertainment through television, this article focuses on the best TV shows that mixes all of the high school challenges with college sports and other teenage scenarios.

When talking about sports culture, especially in North America, college football is a core subject. American football is played by teams of student athletes from American universities or colleges. These tournaments have great potential to reveal the next stars of the sport and that is the main reason behind all the expectations it brings. Friday Night Lights

This acclaimed series is inspired by the movie and book Friday Night Lights, which already has its 25th anniversary edition. The story is set in a fictional rural town where citizens are obsessed with football, Dillon in Texas. The main plot is about the football coach Eric Taylor (Kyle Chandler), his wife Tami (Connie Britton), and daughter Julie (Aimee Teegarden) that moved into this small city. Thus, Eric is hired to coach the Dillon High School Panthers team. The Panthers feel the pressure once they have great chances of becoming champion and early in the season, one of the team’s stars is seriously injured. Eric fights incessantly to keep the team together and you cannot miss this journey.


Streamed since 2015, this TV show describes the routine of Hayden Fox, the coach of a football University team. Fox is obsessed with the sport and lives for it, which brings conflicts with his family. It is not a coincidence that this drama sounds familiar. This series is a remake of the classic and highly successful TV-show ‘Coach’, which was on American TV from 1989 to 1997.

Last Chance U

Elite athletes with troubled pasts turn to junior college football. This is an example of stories that happened in a community college football program and in the lives of its members brought by this documentary series. This documentary also approaches the challenges to change lives and achieve dreams as well as the struggles in the community and what it takes to become the national football champions.
