Evil is back… and so is the only survivor!
Yes, the trailer for Netflix’s new Texas Chainsaw has dropped and, picking up where the 1974 original left off – no, none of the sequel, sidequels, reboots or remakes count, this is the only other Texas Chainsaw movie – ol’ Leatherface is back after almost five decades to carve up a new team of teenagers.
And, once he raises his ugly head, the sole survivor of his original blood bath, Sally, once again played by Marily Burns all these years later, returns for revenge in full-on Sarah Connor/Laurie Stroud fashion.
And it looks solid. And gory. And fun in a sick sort of way.
I’m not a massive horror fan but with Evil Dead and Don’t Breathe’sFede Alvarez on story duty here, I’ll definitely be tuning in to Netflix on the 18th.
