During Peter Jackson’s live event for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, he showed off some of the first footage from the film. Well Warner Bros.has finally allowed Jackson to post a six-minute excerpt of the live event, which gives us our first look at the second film in the highly anticipated Hobbit series! It also includes an appearance and question from Stephen Colbert.
The story continues the epic adventure of Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) as he journeys with the Wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and a company of thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage), on a dangerous quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.
The movie is set to hit theaters on December 13th, 2013. I for one can barely wait.
