The new Suicide Squad international trailer gives us more Joker, Batman and mayhem

July 9th, 2016 by Phil Robinson Comments

It feels that the first trailer for Suicide Squad was released almost ten years ago, the level of excitement we’ve had about the super villain team-up epic – coming to the big screens in just under a month – has been at an all time high forever. One more trailer won’t hurt though, especially when it gives us a little glimpse at stuff we haven’t seen before.

“All of that chit-chat’s gonna get ya hurt,” says Jared Leto’s Joker. He’s not messing about, is he?

It’s cool if you’re still not sold on him, we just hope you will be when he murders his way across the cinema screen on the 5th August.

So take a look at this brand new international trailer below, slicing in some tasty new footage just weeks ahead of the film’s release:

More Mr J and some Batfleck, we’re on board with that! Now we just have to see out what’s left of July to get to the sweet, gooey summer blockbuster candy that is Suicide Squad. Wake us on the 4th, please.

Hidden deep in the woods, past the abandoned insane asylum and long-forgotten summer camp, off the old dirt road, across the creaky timber bridge, lies a log cabin. Under the full moon some have said they've heard blood-curdling howls from deep in the basement, though none have been brave enough to explore further... If they had, the shocking reveal would be that the screams come from old horror VHS tapes, accompanied by the maniacal laugh of Phil Robinson, brought on by comics and wrestling promos. The self-confessed "horror guy", he has also been known to talk about Spider-Man and heavy metal at great, unnecessary lengths. Yes, he knows he needs a haircut.
