So, we normally don’t do things like this, but this week in particular we stumbled apon a few videos that really rocked our world.

And, because we’re nice like that, we thought we’d share them with you guys…

So, without further ado, lets’ go.

First up:

While Terminator Genisys wasn’t received terribly well, this video about the make-up and Terminator effects will make you appreciate the craft. Even if you didn’t appreciate the movie.

Next up, The LEGO Dimensions game has now got an official story trailer and, yes, you guessed it, it’s really great.

Next, Legendary Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki gets a beautiful 3D tribute by Vimeo user Dono who lifted scenes from Studio Ghibli’s movies and rendered them in 3D. And it’s wonderful…

Ok, now this we love… Harley Quinn is Anna in this glorious Frozen homages. Well, do you wanna kill the Batman?

Now, this one has serious applications for firefighting, bomb disposal, the apocalypse… young Danny Benedettelli has built an exosuit from LEGO and it controls a REAL robot… a REAL robot.

And finally, we’re BIG fans of CW’s The Flash here at FTN and we’re signing off with this great little gag reel from Season One.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
