Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen have been cast as Timon and Pumbaa in the forthcoming live action remake of The Lion King.
The actors will voice the famous duo and join the likes of Donald Glover (Simba) and James Earl Jones (Mufasa) in Jon Favreau’s film.
Nathan Lane and Ernie Sabella voiced the two characters in the originally 1994 classic.
No word yet on whether this remake will be a straight-up musical like the animated Disney film.
The Lion King has a release date of 19 July 2019.
