We reported recently on Arrow’s Stephen Amell getting ready to make his WWE debut at their summer pay-per-view, Summerslam on August 22nd (here) but now the TV star has sent fanboys into a frenzy over what he’ll be wearing for the bout with a promotional video on social media.
The self-confessed wrestling obsessive, along with partner, Neville, is set to face rival Stardust and King Barrett this Sunday, the culmination of a long tease and Twitter war between Stardust (Cody Rhodes) and Amell.
As we reported before, the WWE are playing up the comic-book hero vs super-villain aspect of the feud. Amell took to facebook to hype his match and has fuelled rumours regarding what his ring attire for the match will be. We know that his character of Arrow was retired as part of the storyline in last season’s TV finale and that its been teased by the CW that Amell will debut the Green Arrow persona starting with the season four premiere as it’s titled… Green Arrow.
In Amell’s facebook video (below) however, he clearly hints we may see his new Green Arrow duds before the season premiere. Check it out!
