Check out Christian Bale‘s audition forChristopher Nolan‘s Batman! It’s interesting to see what he was looking to bring to the character before he even got cast. There are a few interesting things in the video to note. The first is that he’s wearing Val Kilmer‘s Batsuit from Batman Forever. The second is that he does the read with actress Amy Adams, who was eventually cast as Lois Lane in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel. It’s easy to see how he got the role.
The video is included with the Dark Knight Trilogy: Ultimate Collector’s Edition, which will be released on Tuesday September 24th.
