Thanks to IGN we’ve got a new the CG trailer for Dead Rising 3. It’s a little disappointing that we’re only getting a cinematic trailer a couple of months after E3, instead of more detailed info about the gameplay. This particular trailer should get a pass though. It’s hilarious, violent and perfectly embodies what the Dead Rising franchise is all about.
Nick Ramos teams up with a character called Annie, and the pair demonstrates the end result of how players can possibly customize vehicles into mobile death devices. The video also shows a shotgun-wielding zombie, showcasing how the such as cops, prisoners and football players will be more dangerous and intelligent than previous Dead Rising installments.
“Set 10 years after the events of Fortune City in Dead Rising 2, players are introduced to Nick Ramos, a young mechanic with a strange tattoo and a mysterious past, who must find a way to escape a city full of zombies before an impending military strike wipes the city of Los Perdidos, California, and everyone in it, off the map. Nick can’t do it alone – he must join up with other survivors to stay alive. They must fight their way out before it’s too late.”
The game will be released exclusively on the XBox One in November of 2013.
