WATCH: Final trailers for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire are here and they’re brilliant… and spoilerific

March 2nd, 2024 by Marc Comments

It’s hard to believe to this Ghosthead but we’re only a few weeks away from the release of the Fourth Ghostbusters movie, Frozen Empire and we have loads of new footage!

Now, I have to warn you, this last couple of trailers – the Japanese and Final ones below – are pretty spoilerific with a couple of plot points from the movie that you may not be aware of yet, so you have been warned!

There’s also a very cool new featurette and a batch of new posters, all of which are pretty great… I think this movie is really going to be something special!

In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the Spengler family returns to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.

Hitting cinemas on March 29th, 2024, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire stars Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Mckenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, Logan Kim, Celeste O’Connor, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, and Annie Potts, in addition to series newcomers Kumail Nanjiani, Patton Oswalt, James Acaster, and Emily Alyn Lind.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire arrives on March 22nd.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
