A new Japanese trailer has been released for James Mangold‘s The Wolverine. In Japan, the movie is called Wolverine: Samurai (pretty cool), and the trailer does include a few tid bits of new footage for you to check out. I do think that this movie will be better than X-Men: Origins: Wolverine, but that’s not really saying much now is it?
“Based on the celebrated comic book arc, the film takes Wolverine (Jackman) to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world, he will face a host of unexpected and deadly opponents in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality.”
The movie stars Hugh Jackman, Will Yun Lee, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima, and Brian Tee.
The movie claws its way into theaters on July 26th, 2013!
