WATCH: New Hercules trailer, international trailer and poster starring The Rock

June 3rd, 2014 by Edwin Torres Jr 2 Comments

Paramount Pictures has released a new trailer, international trailer and poster for Hercules, starring Dwayne The Rock Johnson!

“Everyone knows the legend of Hercules and his twelve labors. Our story begins after the labors, and after the legend…

Haunted by a sin from his past, Hercules has become a mercenary. Along with five faithful companions, he travels ancient Greece selling his services for gold and using his legendary reputation to intimidate enemies. But when the benevolent ruler of Thrace and his daughter seek Hercules’ help to defeat a savage and terrifying warlord, Hercules finds that in order for good to triumph and justice to prevail… he must again become the hero he once was… he must embrace his own myth… he must be Hercules.”

Based on the Radical Studios graphic novel Hercules: The Thracian Wars, the ensemble-action film is a revisionist take on the classic myth set in a grounded world where the supernatural does not exist. The screenplay is by Ryan Condal and Evan Spiliotopoulos, and the film is directed by Brett Ratner.

Hercules also stars Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes, Peter Mullan, John Hurt, Rebecca Ferguson, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Aksel Hennie, Reece Ritchie, Irina Shayk, and Tobias Santelmann.

Hercules is set for July 25th, 2014

Hercules looks pretty cool especially the part that show him battling the different animals like the lion, or the boar, and that six headed Dragon looking water beast those parts look awesome and the massive battle scenes. Was very skeptical about the rock being Hercules but got to say these trailers are winning me over
