WATCH: New X-Men: Days of Future Past TV spot

March 31st, 2014 by Edwin Torres Jr Comments

The newest TV spot for Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past, that aired during last night’s season 4 finale of The Walking Dead, is now online.

There’s not a whole lot in the way of new footage, but there are a few brief new shots of some of the mutants like Bishop and Kitty Pryde.

Mutants are on the verge of extinction. Sending Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) back in time seems to be like the mutants’ last hope, even though it was Kitty in the comics. But when Logan arrives in the 1970s, things aren’t much better. Magneto is coming into his evil power and Charles Xavier is not the man he was in X-Men: First Class, he is broken physically and mentally.

They must unite if mutants are to stand a chance.

The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-Men: Days of Future Past. The beloved characters from the original X-Men film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from X-Men: First Class, in an epic battle that must change the past – to save our future.

Bryan Singer has managed to gather an impressive cast which includes James McAvoy, Ian McKellen, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Ellen Page, Halle Berry, Shawn Ashmore, Nicholas Hoult, Hugh Jackman, Peter Dinklage, Patrick Stewart, Omar Sy, Daniel Cudmore, Fan Bingbing, Boo Boo Stewart, Adan Canto, Evan Peters, Josh Helman, Lucas Till and Evan Jonigkeit.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is set to be released in theaters on May 22nd, 2014 in the UK and May 23rd in the US
