A first look at anime OVA adaptation Kite has come online in the form of a trailer and five-minute clip. Featuring an introduction by star Samuel L. Jackson.
The Ralph Ziman-directed action thriller is based on A Kite, written and directed by Yasuomi Umetsu. The anime OVA told the story of a sexually abused orphaned schoolgirl, Sawa, who becomes an assassin. The original is famous for its amount of sex and violence.
The movie also stars India Eisley, Callan McAuliffe, Cleo Rinkwest, Russel Savadier, Keci Eatock, Matthew Van Leeve and Jaco Muller.
