The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus was recently given a fright when a one-armed zombie jumped out and began crawling toward him. Norman was preparing for an interview in Tokyo when the prank took place. 17-year-old internet prankster Nick Santonastasso was suited up as a zombie in order to help cast member Andrew Lincoln and co-executive producer and special effects expert Greg Nicotero bring the stunt to life. I guess they were lucky there was no crossbow around.
Nick was born with only one arm due to Hanhart syndrone, a rare birth defect that causes malformed limbs.
Season four of AMC’s The Walking Dead returns with episode nine on Sunday, February 9th.
