Coming to FX Next month is a new series based on the Coen Brother’s original movie Fargo, starring among others Martin Freeman (playing the role of the movie played by William H. Macy) and Billy Bob Thornton. Myself, I’m not a massive fan of the original movie, but many are, so I imagine this is boiling some blood right now. Some of you out there are probably thinking “oh for the love of…”, wondering how Martin Freeman was enticed to appear in such a thing?!
Thing is, this may change your mind as it kind of shows promise, yet to see how anyone could do a better job than Francis McDormand did in the original will be the biggest of numerous challenges.
