Greetings my fellow Nerds and Nerdettes and it’s Collectormania Con once more! Starting this Friday, 16th May, at The Dons Stadium, Milton Keynes, and lasting all the way through until Sunday 18th May (how will I cope!) there will once again be a convention to rival all others!

With guests from Film, Television and sports personalities abound, not to mention the usual galaxy of vendors selling all forms of collector merchandise, oh and let’s not forgot the cosplayers.

Guests confirmed include Billy Boyd (Lord of the Rings), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Sean Petwee (Dog Soldiers and the soon to be released Gotham), David Ramsey (Arrow), Karen Allen (Raiders of the Lost Ark), Joe Dempsie (Game of Thrones), Robert Beltran (Star Trek: Voyager), William Atherton (Ghostbusters), Danny John Jules (Red Dwarf) and for Doctor Who fans there is Paul McGann, Sylvester McCoy, Eve Myles to name but a very few!

For sports fans, you will not be disappointed as guests confirmed include Mark Selby, Chris Eubank, Frank Bruno, Geoff Hurst, Jimmy Greaves, Jack Charlton and Ray Wilkins to name but a few.

With the new sections of the stadium now available for this convention, Collectormania promises to be bigger than ever with autograph signings, photo shoots (including a special photo opportunity with the interior of The Tardis) and Q&A panels. There will also be guests from the comic world too (or should that be universe?).

With doors opening at 9am each day, my advice, speaking from experience, is to get there as early as possible to get an early place in the queue. With FREE ENTRY into the convention, free parking and also a free shuttle bus making regular pick-ups and drop-offs, these are just more reasons to attend.

So once again it’s full Nerd ahead for what looks to be a brilliant weekend, see you there!
