X-Men: Days of Future Past officially wraps with a new photo

August 19th, 2013 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

On Friday  X-Men: Days Of Future Past director Bryan Singer let it be known that they would be wrapping up filming on the upcoming X-Men movie on Saturday. During production, Singer constantly tweeted images and clues, keeping it fun for fans.

So Singer has now tweeted his last photo from the set of X-Men: Days Of Future Past. (I hope he’ll continue to share teases as he moves into post-production.)

Late yesterday, Singer tweeted the above photo above, along with the message:

“Just wrapped! Eternal thx 2 our amazing Montreal crew! C u at the party @RealHughJackman #SimonKinberg #HutchParker”

But that’s not all. Just today this new image below was released featuringHugh Jackman’s Wolverine, Nicolas Hoult’s Hank McCoy and James McAvoy’s Charles Xavier.

This is obviously from the 70′s time period. I’m curious how Hank has a normal appearance.

Do they have stealth tech already?

“The film will be based on the comic book storyline “Days of Future Past,” which ran in Uncanny X-Men #141 and 142 back in 1981 during Chris Claremont and John Byrne’s run and introduced the idea of an alternate future for Marvel’s mutants that grew out of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants killing an important senator, leading to a future where all mutants are hunted by Sentinels.”

Singer has managed to gather an impressive cast which includes James McAvoy, Ian McKellen, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Halle Berry, Shawn Ashmore, Nicholas Hoult, Hugh Jackman, Peter Dinklage, Patrick Stewart, Omar Sy, Daniel Cudmore, Fan Bingbing, Boo Boo Stewart, Adan Canto, Evan Peters, Josh Helman, and Lucas Till.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is set to be released in theaters on May 23, 2014.
