Does Deadline co-founder Nikki Finke know who is set to direct Harry Potter Spin-off movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them?
Well if her Tweet (below) is anything to go by then yes…
Finke believes that Gravity, Children of Men and (series high point) Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban director Alfonso Cuaron is “deep in talks” to direct.
We must say that, while we still aren’t overly excited for this movie, the inclusion of Cuaron would certainly peak our interest somewhat.
The movie is set 70 years before the Potter movies and follows adventurer Newt Scamander; the script is by JK Rowling based on her book of the same name and Warners are hoping to have it in cinemas by Christmas 2016.
