Another classic series that is up for a modern day reboot (or a “sequel” in some circles) is the Vaction series. The saga, featuring the family Griswold is known for hilarious moments, many featuring the legendary Chevy Chase.
Vacation, the reboot/sequel is set to begin filming this week, but some casting apparently hasn’t been finished yet, as Leslie Mann is eyeing the role of franchise character Audrey Griswold.
This part is somewhat notorious in the franchise as the character has been played by numerous actresses.
If Mann does get the role, she’ll join Ed Helms, Christina Applegate, Chevy Chase, Beverly D’Angelo, Chris Hemsworth and Charlie Day in the film.
