Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice: Wonder Woman and much more details revealed?

June 24th, 2014 by Marc Comments

The Batman V Superman news is really hotting up now as filming is well under way and SDCC approaches. The latest news is revolving around Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman…

JobBlo published the below video and in it is a lot of news from ‘a source’ about Wonder Woman in the movie – although it is still rumour until confirmed.

The video claims that Gadot will be in the movie a lot but as Diana, with her Wonder Woman reveal coming near the end when a big villain is revealed – possibly involving Luthor – that will take the combined power of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman to stop – this is rumoured to be Doomsday but we’re thinking this is unlikely.

Her purpose is to set up the idea that there are superheros out there other than Superman.

Her costume will be a blue leather skirt, silver gauntlets, tiara – although the red star could be gone – and red bodice. She will have a sword, a spear, the golden lasso and a shield which she straps to her back “like Captain America”.

On Batman, it claims he is a veteran crimefighter who will stop at nothing to get the job done – he and Superman see eye-to-eye on very little and clash consistently throughout the movie. Bruce Wayne lives in a house on the Wayne Estate – Wayne Manor is there too. There is a Batcave, Batmobile and Batwing.

Lex Luthor hates Superman with a vengeance. Luthor believes he is the perfect human and Superman’s godlike presence makes him feel inferior, leading to him hating him with a passion.

Finally, via Twitter, LatinoReview‘s ElMayimbe is saying there will be a clip from Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice revealed at SDCC but not trailer yet.

Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
