Say what you will about DC dragging their feet in regards to live action movies, they have ALWAYS on their game when it comes to animated films. Son of Batman was a particular favorite of fans as it introduced the world at large to Damian, the son of Bruce Wayne and Talia al Ghul.

The sequel to that animated feature, Batman vs. Robin, has now cast its stars to voice the characters. Alongside returning actors Jason O’Mara, Stuart Allan, and Sean Maher, who will voice Batman, Robin, and Nightwing respectively. The animated film will also feature: David McCallum (reprising his role as Alfred), Jeremy Sisto, Grey Griffin, Robin Atkins Downes, Peter Onorati, and the one and only “Weird Al” Yankovic. Good times.

Batman vs. Robin is set to model their story after the classic Court of Owls storyline that kicked off the Batman comics in the New 52. Not much is known outside of that as to how much it’ll stick to the material.

Oh yeah, and Kevin Conroy is going to be in the film as well. No, not as Batman, but as Thomas Wayne, how’s that for a twist?

Batman vs. Robin is set to release this spring.
