Disney’s cast for the live-action Beauty and the Beast continues to grow… impressively.
With Emma Watson and Dan Stevens already on board as Belle and the Beast/Prince and Luke Evans as Gaston we’re already impressed and looking forward to it, but now the inspired addition of Emma Thompson as Mrs Potts and Kevin Kline as Belle’s dad, Maurice as us certified excited.
And they’ve also added Frozen star Josh Gad – Olaf – as Gaston’s sidekick Lefou.
The movie will be directed by Bill Condon (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn) and, interestingly, it will be scored by Alan Menken, who won two Academy Awards for the 1991 animated classic and it will feature new recordings of the classic tracks from that movie as well as newly composed ones.
Disney will release Beauty and the Beast in 3D on March 17, 2017
