Reports from the set of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice indicate that Batman himself, Ben Affleck, was injured preforming a stunt in the much anticipated 2016 release.
A Star Magazine source commented “It was hurting him pretty bad. He’s putting his all into this role and it’s pretty physically demanding. The trips to the gym are two, sometimes three times a day and on set he’s like a machine.”
The onset video below shows Affleck favoring his shoulder while being attended to by the set medical team.
Affleck is now back on the set following a two day break but has been instructed to take it easy. Videos from the set seem to indicate that his stunt double has been entrusted with the (literal) heavy lifting until the star is cleared by doctors to perform his own stunts again.
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled for release March 25, 2016
