It looks like we now know who will be playing the big bad Steppenwolf in the Justice League and it’s a cracking choice!

Game of Thrones star, Irish actor Ciaran Hinds seems to have been cast as the villain according to The Wrap.

Hinds has already filmed the motion capture role for the movie and it makes us excited because he is such a great actor with Munich, road To Perdition, Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy and many, many other great movies under his belt.

We’re also hearing that he will look a little different than he did (above) in the Batman V Superman deleted scene (here) and will, as expected, be searching for the Mother Boxes in the movie which are rumoured to be held one each by Atlanteans, Amazonians and humans, which pretty much will put him in the path of the whole League even if they weren’t a team.

Thoughts on Hinds’ casting? Let us know…

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

“Justice League” will be released in theaters on November 17, 2017.
