Just a few hours ago we reported that Atomic Blonde director David Leitch, whose also director of Deadpool 2 and co-director of John Wick, is set to direct the Fast & Furious spinoff (here) and now we have more Atomic Blonde news.
While it’s not very much, star Charlize Theron appeared on April 8th at San Francisco’s Castro Theater to talk about her role in the upcoming movie, Tully, about mother-of-three Marlo Moreau, talked about making the action-packed thriller.
“I have the muscle memory, but I hadn’t done anything like that for many years,” she said about the physically challenging role, “The strength level was starting from scratch. I do have the discipline, dance teaches you that. I don’t like people telling me there’s something that I can’t do. I thrive in that environment.”
While Theron has starred in Fast 8 and Mad Max: Fury Road too, the actress is set to add another action movie to her CV… Atomic Blonde 2.
“We’re working on the sequel,” she confirmed.
So Agent Lorraine Broughton is set to return… that’s all we know for now.
But as and when we hear more, we’ll keep you posted.
The crown jewel of Her Majesty’s Secret Intelligence Service, Agent Lorraine Broughton (Theron) is equal parts spycraft, sensuality and savagery, willing to deploy any of her skills to stay alive on her impossible mission.
