Pixar has released an image of two new characters from the upcoming animated sequel Finding Dory.
During her adventure, Dory (Ellen DeGeneres) visits a marine life rehabilitation center and meets Bailey, a snub-nosed beluga whale voiced by Modern Family’s Ty Burrell. Bailey then introduces Dory to Destiny – or Sweet Dee – a whale shark voiced by Kaitlin Olson from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
“My character isn’t great at his own sonar capability, and Destiny has trouble swimming straight,” Burrell explains to Entertainment Weekly via Squareeyed.
“I’m a lot nicer in this movie than I am in my television show,” says Olson. “You don’t really see Sweet Dee being sweet, ever. This character is. It was a lot of fun to play that and be vulnerable.”
In Finding Dory, with help from Nemo and Marlin (Albert Brooks), Dory (Ellen DeGeneres) the forgetful fish embarks on a quest to reunite with her mother (Diane Keaton) and father (Eugene Levy).
Finding Dory is released in cinemas on June 17, 2016.
