Checkout Hawkeye’s new superhero-like outfit in Avengers: Age of Ultron

August 25th, 2014 by Marc 2 Comments

Well lookee here… it seems Hawkeye has a new look in Avengers: Age of Ultron AND gets taught how to be an awesome archer by Joss Whedon. Makes sense to us.

The images, from Empire Magazine, show the new outfit which is a much more comicbookesque (see below) take on Hawkeye, played by Jeremy Renner. We like it… what about you guys?

Written and directed by Joss Whedon, Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Thomas Kretschmann, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen and James Spader.

The Age of Ultron begins on May 1st, 2015.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….

Doesn’t look anything like comic book Hawkeye. Since when does Clint even wear sleeves? Also we got our first peek like 3 months ago.

I didn’t say it looked exactly like it. I said it was more comicbookesque. I.E the lines and colours are pretty similar, especially in the body and, while we did get a look a while back, the details are much clearer here for the first time. Thanks for Following the Nerd, Ollie. (Marc)
