Ok, so this is a rumor that’s again circulating, but let’s get you up to speed.
Of the confirmed members of the Justice League that’ll (most likely) be in the movie version, we know the actors/actress for Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash, and Cyborg. Of the confirmed DC movies that haven’t gotten a lead hero is SHAZAM! (which has it’s villain cast with The Rock), and Green Lantern.
Of the two, Green Lantern is the more likely to be in Justice League, as he’s been a prominent member more-or-less since the beginning. But, his solo movie isn’t until 2020. So who’s going to be Green Lantern?
Well…it may be Chris Pine. Who has been rumored to be in the mix for the role before. The rumor is just that, there has been NO confirmation as of yet. Especially since rumors were that it would be John Stewart wearing the ring in the movie universe. And yet, sources have said…
“The name I keep hearing & floating around, is Chris Pine for Hal Jordan. Yes, Captain Kirk. Again, this is still just a RUMOR hence UNCONFIRMED. Been hunting this one for a while so the search is still ongoing.”
