Ok, if you recall the original Howard the Duck movie, you’ll know it was…interesting. It was not a box office hit by any means, some even consider it George Lucas’ worst movie ever. And yet, the character endured (Lucas created the character for Marvel), and now has had not only an epic cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy, but also a successful new comic.
This begs the question, could Marvel try again and make a Howard the Duck movie? Lucas seems to think it’s possible.
“Even Howard the Duck is a cult classic,” he noted. “I have a feeling that Marvel’s gonna redo it because of the technology they have today.”
To be clear, this does NOT mean it’s happening, just that Lucas thinks it could. Do you think it could? Let us know!
