Movies are a curious thing when it comes to release dates. Yes, they plan for a certain date, but delays, changes in director or cast, and the studios themselves can change when the movie releases. Look at what happened with Batman v Superman.
For fans of SHAZAM!, they were disappointed in hearing that the big screen debut of Earth’s Mightiest Mortal wouldn’t come until 2019. But if Black Adam (Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson) is any indication…that might not be the case…
Yep, you heard that right, the movie may come out sooner. Which actually makes sense, because this movie is getting a lot of attention right now, despite it being slated for a few years down the road. Perhaps they’ll expedite the movie to keep their momentum going, and…maybe gear him up for a later Justice League appearance? Just saying…
Also, as you heard, there’s no word on who may be playing Billy Batson or SHAZAM!.
