One of the DCU’s net big heroes is being readied to make his big-screen debut.
Word is that Queer, The Dish’s Oscar-nominated filmmaker Luca Guadagnino is looking to work with that movie’s star, Daniel Craig again on a movie adaptation of DC’s World War II character, Sgt Franklin Rock, Sgt Rock for short.
Rock was a soldier during WWII who, along with his elite unit, travelled all over Europe, fighting in every major battle and growing to loathe war – he even met a few of DC’s big hitters over the years such as Vandal Savage.
Details emerge on who Daniel Craig was to play in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness
Word is that Guadagnino might actually be working on this new entry in James Gunn and Peter Safran’s DCU before he films the American Psycho reboot (just let that one die, Mary Harron and Christian Bale already made a near-perfect movie) with Queer, The Dish writer Justin Kuritzkes ready to dive in.
That’s all we know for now but if and when the wheels begin turning properly, we’ll let you know…
