DC/Warners release new slate of movies… and it’s pretty much as we already knew

December 10th, 2017 by Marc Comments

DC/Warners Bros have just announced their new movie line-up…

You may recall at SDCC earlier this year we got the line-up:

SHAZAM!
SUICIDE SQUAD 2!
JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK!
FLASHPOINT!
WONDER WOMAN 2!
GREEN LANTERN CORPS!
BATGIRL!
THE BATMAN!!

And now from Comic-Con Experience 2017 in Sao Paulo, Brazil we got:

WONDER WOMAN II
AQUAMAN
FLASHPOINT
SUICIDE SQUAD 2
SHAZAM
BATGIRL
GREEN LANTERN CORPS
THE BATMAN,
JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK

You may notice the one major difference here is that Wonder Woman 2 is now, em, Wonder Woman II. Yes, we’re being sarcastic.

So, it’s exactly the same list we have already had, so, we’re sorry to report there’s nothing massively new here.

Although we do know that rumoured movies such as Cyborg, Deathstroke, Gotham City Sirens, Harley Quinn, The Joker vs. Harley Quinn, Nightwing, and the standalone Joker movie are all still absent. But we imagine they’ll all be added in in time.

The DC Cinematic universe may be going through changes, but it’s not going anywhere it seems. And we’re very glad for that.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
