Weyhey, did Robert Downey Jr just let slip plans for Iron Man and Captain America to appear in the upcoming Spider-Man reboot? We think he might have.
Appearing with Chris Evans on Jimmy Kimmel Live recently, the pair joked about not wanting to return to face the humidity of Atlanta for more filming over the winter.
“We are going to shoot in Atlanta again, you and I,” Downey said to Evans, who replied, “I know – I’m ready.”
ComicBook.com believe that the only possible project they could have been talking about is Sony’s new Spider-Man film, unless James Gunn was actually lying about The Avengers not being in Guardians of the Galaxy 2.
Tom Holland will be making his on-screen debut as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil Warnext year under a new deal between Sony and Marvel, so it makes sense that some characters would cross back over in his 2017 solo film.
