Did Ryan Reynolds just tease a Deadpool Christmas Special? We really hope so…

With the whole world of comic book fans already wanting to know when Deadpool and Wolverine will be back on the big screen, Ryan Reynolds may have teased it could be sooner than later… for Deadpool at least.

Taking to his Instagram story a few days ago, Reynolds posted two images of him in the new Deadpool suit that was seen in Deadpool and Wolverine just a couple of short months ago.

One of the images also featured co-star Leslie Uggams, left, as Blind Al and, if you look really closely, there’s clearly a Christmas Tree in the background and Reynolds has written “That was fun today” on one of the images.

Now, of course, this might be nothing but it also might be something big too.

In recent years Disney+ has put out holiday specials around Halloween and Christmas, with Marvel having the Werewolf By Night series and the Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas Holiday Special, so the possibility of a Deadpool festive special is not completely impossible, especially since Reynolds is clearly suited up and has Blind Al, who has appeared in all the Deadpool movies so far, featuring.

Of course, there has technically been a Deadpool Christmas movie already with Deadpool 2 getting a slightly less adult cut release called Once Upon A Deadpool so I really think there’s a possibility we’re going to see Christmaspool again in the near future and, personally, I would be hear for it in every way imaginable.

What say you all? Deadpool for Christmas? You know it makes sense…

WATCH: We just got Deadpool/Ryan Renolds’ first appearance in the MCU, folks…
