Of all the Disney movies, as much as I like a lot of them, my all-time favourite movie from them is Lilo & Stitch.
The art, the characters, the story, the soundtrack, I adore it very, very much.
And now Disney, hot of the heels of Maleficent, LionKing, Dumbo and others,are planning on giving it the live-action treatment.
Sigh.
Mike Van Waes is set to write the remake of the 2002 original.
Van Waes hasn’t really made a name for himself yet but is currently writing The Crooked Man, based on a character from The Conjuring 2 and set to be another Conjuring universe movie.
We’ve no other news on Lilo & Stitch at the minute but as i happens, we’ll keep you posted.
