From the Disney Investor Presentation, we got confirmation that Harrison Ford – at 79 – is set to return for one last outing as the iconic archeologist Indiana Jones.
At the event it was confirmed that the movie will be the first not to be directed by Steven Spielberg and will be helmed by Logan’s James Mangold and will be the fifth ad final outing for the character.
Producer Frank Marshall recently confirmed that when Ford stops, Indy stops, saying: “There will only be one Indiana Jones, and that’s Harrison Ford.”
And that’s good enough for us.
Indy will return to our screens in July 2022.
Lucasfilm is in pre-production on the next installment of Indiana Jones. At the helm is James @Mang0ld, director of Ford v Ferrari, and Indy himself, Harrison Ford, will be back to continue his iconic character’s journey. Adventure arrives July 2022.
