Donald Glover’s Lando Calrissian may be set for his own Disney+ series

Despite Solo: A Star Wars Story writer Jon Kasdan saying recently that a Solo sequel or series was ‘a tough sell’, the rumours persist that Disney+ isn’t done with that corner of the universe.

A new rumour suggests that, while a Solo direct sequel isn’t on the cards, a new series focusing on the criminal groups Crimson Dawn or Black Sun could be in the works and, given that The Clone Wars has set up what Darth Maul was doing before we met him again in Solo, it doesn’t seem that out of the question.

On top of that, it seems that the plan is to bring back Donald Glover’s Lando Calrissian could headline the show or his own separate series. And, given that Billy Dee Williams’ Lando was one of the parts of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker that the fans seemed to universally like, it definitely isn’t out of the question that this may well be under consideration.

Whatever happens, Solo raised more questions than it answered and, since Star Wars is an ongoing adventure, then it’s a story that will sooner or later need to be resolved.

What say you? Do you want to see the Solo story resolved and, if so, are you happy with Lando leading the charge in the form of Donal Glover; I know I am.
