The hardest working actor in Hollywood – his words, not ours – Dwayne Johnson, has revealed two pieces of big DC news in the last few days.

Because he’s The Rock and it’s his wont to do.

On Friday, he posted this image:

And eagle-eyed fans noticed the gauntlets and neckline of his Black Adam suit.

Then today, he posted this:

Under it he wrote:

If you know the comic book mythology, then you know where his pain comes from.

His rage.
His wife and children killed.
His people brutally enslaved.

He is not a superhero, but rather a champion.

Champion of the poor and beaten down.

Champion of the people.

And he is the most unstoppable force in the DC UNIVERSE.

However, these teases aren’t the only big reveals of Johnson’s involvement in the world of DC in the last few days.

It has now been announced that Johnson will also be voicing Krypto, the super dog, in the upcoming animated movie DC League of Super-Pets.

Johnson will also be producing the movie at his company Seven Buck Productions.

So, it looks like The Rock has plans to cement himself in the world of DC in any and all ways he can…

What say you all? Are you excited for Black Adam? What about Super-Pets? I want to hear it all…

Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the Egyptian gods—and imprisoned just as quickly—Black Adam (Johnson) is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.

DC League of Super-Pets will hit cinemas on May 20th, 2022, while Black Adam will arrive on July 29th, 2022.
