Edge of Tomorrow sequel will be called what?! Plus Emily blunt is back with Cruise and Liman

While it’s still no closer to beginning production, the sequel to Edge of Tomorrow is looking like it’s only a matter of time.

The original movie was a little sci-fi gem and given the mind-warping, time-bending story, it’s not hard to see how or why a sequel would happen.

We’ve known for a while that it was looking good that original director Doug Liman would return (here) and we knew that Tom Cruise himself was very keen to bring it back too (here) but now we have confirmation that Emily Blunt is back for the sequel and it has a title.

“We have an amazing story! It’s incredible!” says director Doug Liman, “Way better than the first film, and I obviously loved the first film. It will be called Live Die Repeat and Repeat. Tom Cruise is excited about it, and Emily Blunt is excited about it. The big question is just when we’ll do it. But it’s not an if, it’s a when.”

So there you have it, the sequel will be called Live Die Repeat and Repeat. Catchy.

Still, with Cruise, Blunt and Liman all back we’d buy our tickets now if we could.

What say you all?
