With Grant Gustin owning the Barry Allen/Flash role on TV, many are still of a mind that he (and Arrow’s Stephen Amell) should be in the Justice League movies.

That aside, young actor Ezra Miller, who will playing the Flash in the Warners movies, has been talking about getting the role (see below) that will keep him busy for at least the next five or six years: “It’s a mixed bag but I’m happy – I’m going to say I feel really happy about it in one way because the idea of actually having a steady job in my life is actually incredibly comforting.

“It’s something I didn’t necessarily think I would ever have. And then of course, there are the moments when responsibility-dodging, adolescent-me is like, ‘No, I don’t wan to’ [laughs]. [But] that’s a very small part. At this point, it’s a diminishing voice. Every time I think about that reality, it makes me extremely happy. I’m really stoked and I would do it for forty years. That contract could have said anything.”

So how do you all feel about the new Flash? Let us know your thoughts…

Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
