Star Wars: The Force Awakens is very much shrouded in mystery. From the story, to the characters, and of course, the footage of the movie. A teaser trailer is said to be finished, and could be shown soon, but when? No one knows (save for the UK 501st, who apparently SAW the trailer), but…

If Making Star Wars is too be believed, the first GIF for The Force Awakens has dropped, and it features an old friend…

Falcon

…The Millennium Falcon!

Now, to be clear, this has NOT been confirmed to be from the movie. But based on the sight (and by that we mean the ship), it does appear to be an exact model of the Falcon they’re using in the film.

What do you think? Does this make you even more excited? Let us know!

UPDATED:

Sadly, it’s fake 🙁

Our friends at StarWarsUnderworld have reported:

We reached out to a source close to the production… The source told us that while nearly finished, the trailer is still in production. Furthermore, while the Falcon does appear in the trailer, the shot is very different from the one in the GIF.
