Well, we know that R2D2 is back for star Wars Episode VII (remember this story?), but there has been questions over the return of C3PO, especially since director JJ Abrams had commented “How do you do Star Wars without R2D2?” but said “They have different agents,” when asked about C3PO.
But now, thanks to French magazine Studio Cine Live’s latest cover which seems to be an Episode VII exclusive, we get a confirming look at him.
He certainly looks older and somewhat run down – which is a little sad, all things considered – but the fact that he’s holding a giant number seven would seem to confirm the return of everyone’s favourite protocol droid.
