Man, if ever there was a winning equation for scares, it was Clowns + Stephen King + Tim Curry = nightmare fuel.
However, there’s a new Pennywise in town and he’s pretty terrifying too. we think you’ll agree…
The new version of Stephen King’s It, due for September 8th, 2017 will star Bill Skarsgård as the terrifying demonic clown under director Andy Muschietti.
The new image is a much darker look than the now classic Curry outfit, but it really makes him look like a creature of the shadows, hiding in sewers and waiting for unsuspecting children.
Can Skarsgård nail the same scares that Curry did in the TV miniseries? We reckon there’s a real good chance he can…
