FIRST LOOK: Here’s the new Charlie’s Angels. And one of the Bosleys

February 11th, 2019 by Marc Comments

It looks like we have our first look at our new Charlie’s Angels.

Director Elizabeth Banks shared a behind-the-scenes photo, below, of herself – she, along with Djimon Hounsou and Patrick Stewart, plays Bosely in the movie –  along with stars Kristen Stewart, Ella Balinska and Naomi Scott.

Little is known about the reboot except it will be based on the 70s TV series and the movies from the 2000s about a trio of beautiful women who work for a mysterious billionaire called Charly who sends them out to on spy missions aided by the mysterious Bosely. It is also possible that this is a continuation of the Charlie’s Angels story so far… with a new team.

We suspect that there are more than three Angels and that Charie has a world-dide network of teams and agents and that Bosely is actaully a codename rather than an actual name and is used by several agents – hence the three actors in the role.

The film wrapped shooting in December last year.

Charlie’s Angels, directed by and starring Elizabeth Banks, will also feature Kristen Stewart, Ella Balinska, Naomi Scott, Patrick Stewart (Logan), Djimon Hounsou (Guardians of the Galaxy), Jonathan Tucker (Snowfall), Nat Faxon (Friends From College), Noah Centineo (To All the Boys I’ve Loved), Sarah Bennani (Shazam!) and Robert Maaser (Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation), is scheduled to be released November 1, 2019.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
