We have our first look at Renny Harlin’s upcoming The Strangers trilogy.
Based on, or rather, picking up from, the 2008 horror movie, Harlin is planning on staying faithful to the tone and horror of that unexpected gem with his new trilogy.
“When this opportunity came to me, the idea of not doing a remake or a reboot but doing a trilogy based on the original film, I thought it was an incredible opportunity,” Harlin says of his new set of movies, adding that the second and third movie will “explore what happens to the victims of this kind of violence and who the perpetrators are of this kind of violence. Where are they coming from and why?”
