The Suicide Squad movie is now officially a go…
And that’s awesome news.
The image above has the whole cast – except Jared Leto – gathered for a read-through. It was tweeted by writer/director David Ayer (bottom).
As well as Will Smith (Deadshot), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), Karen Fukuhara (Plastique) and Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), the picture also features some new additions.
And we might know the significance of the newbies…
Neighbors star Ike Barinholtz and Flags of Our Fathers’ Adam Beach are also in the image and so far we’ve heard nothing about them but…
Latino Review’s El Mayimbe put on Instagram (below) that Ike Barinholtz will play Hugo Strange and that Jim Parrack will play Deathstroke in Suicide Squad. He also notes that Adam Beach is rumored to play the villain Ravan.
What do you all think? Can one movie really be as awesome as we think this is going to be?
We’ll all find out next August.
