So today we have our first look at David Tennant in Union Square as Zebidiah Kilgrave, The Purple Man, a villain in the upcoming Marvel/Netflix series AKA Jessica Jones. We also have the first official pic of Sylvester Stallone in the ring training Adonis Johnson, played by Michael B. Jordan.

So, without further ado…

The Tennant image below comes from Koray Ersin on Instagram.

Krysten Ritter plays the lead role as a former superhero whose career has a tragic end and who reinvents herself as a private detective specialising in cases involving people with special powers. The cast also includes Mike Colter, Carrie-Anne Moss and Rachael Turner. The series is expected to come to Netflix in December 2015.

Sylvester Stallone has taken to Instagram to reveal the first good look at the Rocky spin-off, Creed.

Michael B Jordan plays Adonis Creed, son of Apollo Creed, who you’ll remember from the classic Rocky movies. Adonis hires Rocky to train him…

Creed also stars Tessa Thompson (Selma, Dear White People) as Bianca, a local singer-songwriter who becomes involved with Adonis; Phylicia Rashad (Lifetime’s “Steel Magnolias”) as Mary Anne Creed, Apollo’s widow; and English pro boxer and former three-time ABA Heavyweight Champion Anthony Bellew as boxing champ “Pretty” Ricky Conlan. Fruitvale Station‘s Ryan Coogler directs from a screenplay he wrote with Aaron Covington, based on characters from the Rocky series written by Stallone.

Hitting the big screen November 25, Creed is being produced by Robert Chartoff, Irwin Winkler, Charles Winkler, William Chartoff, David Winkler, Sylvester Stallone and Kevin King Templeton.

Get ready to go for it!

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
